Coming Up!!

Def Leppard / Mötley Crüe - Wembley Arena, UK - Dec 14, 2011

Yeah, two of the greatest Hard Rock bands of the world reunited: Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe! This is the main reason that I anticipated my trip to London for this December. These two bands were in my wish list and now I have the opportunity to see them live for the first time!

Def Leppard

Def Leppard have sold more than 100.000.000 albuns and is currently touring to promote the live album, Mirrorball, released this year. Formed in Sheffield, UK in 1977, the band is still on the top, even suffering two huge problems: Guitarrist and founding member Steve Clark passed away in 1991 after years struggling with alchool problems and the car accident with drummer Rick Allen in 1984. Rick lost his left arm in the accident and the band decided to wait for his recover. And he did! Just after 1/2 year Rick was behind the drum kit again with just ONE arm!! He developed a technique replacing his left arm movements with his left foot, and his sponsor developed and provided him an eletronic drum kit to help him. And he's doing great still to these days...what an example!! I have to see this live!

Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe is the quintessentional american Hard Rock band! Formed in Hollywood in the early 80's the band is the image of all the excess of Rock'n'Roll lifestyle. They are Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll literally speaking. Once in a while one of them appears in the news, but they are absolutely fun and great on stage. Their last album, Saints of Los Angeles, was released in 2008. Since then, they are constantly on tour. This Uk tour wit Def Leppard it's just a warm-up for the  american summer tour in 2012.
